It highlights that examination anxiety, characterized by worry and distress experienced before, during, and after exams, can adversely impact students’ performance and well-being. The study employed a descriptive survey method to measure and analyze the anxiety levels, with particular attention to gender differences. The findings indicate that girls tend to experience higher levels of examination anxiety compared to boys, and this heightened anxiety may serve as a barrier to academic success. The study emphasizes the importance of understanding these patterns to develop effective interventions, such as counselling, relaxation techniques, and supportive educational environments, aiming to mitigate anxiety and promote better mental health and academic achievement among students.
